Whether you are writing your first article or children's story, or you're stuck in the middle of a book manuscript, this seminar can help you. Our instructor has trained both beginning and advanced writers from over twenty-five countries in Switzerland, Denmark, Greece, Brazil, New Zealand, Canada, and the USA. This lively, interactive seminar includes a syllabus for each student.
 
Basic one-day seminar includes:

Questions You Must Answer Before You Begin Writing
• Targeting Your Audience
• Identifying and Clarifying Your Message
• Choosing Your Viewpoint
• Selecting the Right Structure : Thematic, Narrative or Fiction
• Tools of the Thematic Writer - Making Your Material Interesting and Memorable
• Writing True Stories Using Fiction Techniques
• Fiction Writing that Keeps Them Turning the Pages

For additional subjects available for multi-session seminars.

Bev Caruso is a Bible teacher, and author who has ministered with her husband in over 45 countries, and trained writers from over twenty five countries. Together they teach Marriage Enrichment Seminars.


Her Writing Credits Include :

• Ministering with an Interpreter / Interpreting as Ministry , a pocket-sized handbook with tips for both the speaker and interpreter
• Plus numerous magazine articles and handbooks. Her writing has been translated in many languages. Formerly a free-lance editor, she no longer has time to work on others' manuscripts.
  

Hands-On Writers Seminars

This seminar may be one-day; an evening followed by a full-day; or a series of weekly sessions. For mission schools, a full one- or two-week workshop includes 5 hours of teaching per day, plus critique groups and writing assignments.

If you have a group of at least ten interested writers, Bev is willing to work with you. You'll need to arrange for:

• A meeting place
• All promotion and recruitment
• Registration and any student fees
• Sound system, if a large group
• Bev's expenses (transportation and housing if at a distance from Riverside/Corona, CA area)
• Honorarium - $40 per student per day
• Interpreter, if needed
  

*If you have a highly motivated group of less than ten,  Bev is willing to come, but needs $400 per day above expenses.
